El Cajon

The VERY last day to shop. Up early and will be on a bus to El Cajon at 7:30 this morning.

All I have left to get is the cook stove and fuel canisters. Don't know for sure if I'll take a book yet. Might just write for awhile. We'll see. 

My mother had plenty of last minute advice for me which I calmly listened to with a smile. (She's scared to death of wildlife and can't stand dirt ☺) 

Saying goodbye wasn't easy. She is old and the thought it could be the last time I see her alive came to me. We did have a good time together and in the end, all went well. I have a good memory of this trip to think back on if I choose. 

Well, made it to El Cajun. At a motel 6 because I found out from Jack at PCTA, that there really wasn't a place to camp in Campo and no motels. Sooo...I'll take the 8:30 morning bus and start the hike when I arrive.

It's time to have FUN!!!
