This should really help things get started as far as getting people interested in the trip and helping to get donations to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. This is what this trip is all about. Raising awareness to the public and giving hope to those who are affected by the disease. Funding the foundation helps in many ways. I have worked very hard to get where I am at today and spent time and $ preparing for this. I really am hoping people will follow the trek and think about those folks they may know personally whose lives have been altered by IBD's. There are ways to deal with an afflicted body that may not cure but certainly help to live a more comfortable life. Maybe not "normal", but for sure, better!
